NRA Basic Pistol “Phase II” – $100-300.00

This is the range only “Phase II”  taken along with the NRA online “Phase I” course.

We will provide the Phase II range training on an “as needed” basis AFTER you have completed the online portion.  The minimum fee is $300.00 for 1-3 students and $100.00 for each additional student.

NRA Basic Pistol is recommended for those students seeking NRA certification. For a traditional, all-inclusive classroom and range course we recommend our non-NRA certified, StarFire Tactical – “Basic Defensive Pistol” course HERE.

This NRA “blended learning” course includes an “online classroom” (Phase I) segment taught through the NRA web site,  and “in-person” range time (Phase II) learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols under the guidance of an NRA Instructor.

Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.

PLEASE NOTE:  There are TWO SEPARATE FEES involved in this course. You pay the classroom Phase I fee to the NRA and the Range Training Phase II Fee to StarFire. We are NOT employees of the NRA and the NRA online class fee DOES NOT include the live fire range training.

NOTE:   If you do not own a pistol please DO NOT buy one until after you take this class!  The money you save by not buying the wrong gun will more than pay for your materials fee!

Students will receive the NRA  materials when they sign up with the NRA.  A course completion certificate will be printed from the NRA website upon satisfactory completion of Phase II.

You MUST provide us with proof of completion of Phase I before we can schedule Phase II.
