“Night Fire” Clinic
This is a cutting edge course, we learn the fundamentals and explore the limits of low light technology!
This 4 hour clinic is designed to expose the experienced gun owner to low light techniques. The course is taught on the range and begins before dark with a safety and shooting skills review and lecture.
As darkness falls we introduce you to night shooting fundamentals with flashlights and low light after action skill drills . We practice loading, unloading and malfunction recovery in the dark. Controlled pair, failure to stop drills, fire and movement to cover are practiced.
We end the evening exploring the leading edge of skills and technology using state of the art techniques in rail lights, lasers, red dot and night vision with Trijicon red dot optical sights and Gen 3 ITT night vision monoculars.
We shoot 100-150 rounds. Bring double the minimum.
Class Fee: $120.00 (4 student min)
Note: This class starts about an hour before sunset. Depending upon time of year this course will continue as late as 11 pm or midnight.
Prerequisite: Intermediate equivalent or Instructor skill assessment. 100% muzzle and finger control required. Must be able to safely present from a belt holster and manipulate basic malfunction, loading and unloading skills in daylight.
Equipment Requirements: 9mm or larger handgun, holster, double mag pouch and 3 to 5 magazines. Laser optional. Quality flashlight with thumb button on butt. Eye and electronic hearing protection. Hat with red or green brim light or red headlamp optional.
